El defensa mexicano del Barcelona Rafa Márquez concretará durante la próxima semana su salida del club catalán, siete años después de su llegada, para fichar por el New York Red Bulls, donde ya juega el ex barcelonista francés Thierry Henry.

Márquez, fichado del Mónaco en el verano de 2003 a cambio de cinco millones de euros, ya tiene muy avanzado su acuerdo con el Barça para la rescisión de su contrato- aunque firmó en noviembre de 2009 su renovación por dos temporadas, hasta junio de 2012, el Barcelona le concederá la carta de libertad y no ingresará cantidad alguna por su traspaso, aunque se ahorrará su ficha.

” El francés Thierry Henry firmó un contrato por varios años con Red Bulls de Nueva York, en una transferencia que recuerda un poco la llegada de David Beckham a Estados Unidos. El defensa mexicano Rafael Márquez firmaría con el Red Bulls de la MLS a finales de la próxima semana una vez que haya terminado su vínculo con el Barcelona, equipo con el que tiene contrato vigente hasta el 2012, reportó un medio local.

En días pasados la prensa en España mencionó que antes de este lunes se conocerá el futuro del jugador, una vez que se reuna con el técnico del Barcelona, Josep Guardiola, quien dejó entrever que no contará con el defensa mexicano.

Jose Cuervo, the world's first tequila maker, will celebrate with 70,000 others the Mexican National Soccer Team's last game in the United States prior to their playing before the world in South Africa.
